Embroidered Name Patches Help Show People Who You Really Are

From Army name tapes to custom name patches on the jumpsuits of mechanics, exterminators, and the like, many organizations use embroidered name patches. They tell others the identity of the person wearing the uniform. They serve as a symbol of pride and permanency for the wearer.

Custom name patches can even be designed to incorporate the organization logo and serve as advertising, so you want to get them right by hiring Houston Embroidery Service.

Custom Name Patches from Houston Embroidery Service Come in Four Main Types

There are countless ways to personalize name patches, from text color and style to background and border stitching. They can come in different shapes and sizes.

If you can think of a design, there is a good chance that our embroiderers can match it closely. When people ask about the kinds of embroidered name patches we sell, what they usually want to know is how those patches can be attached.

For Name Patches, All Four Main Options Are Available:

1.   Sew On. This is probably the type of patch people are most familiar with. It is sewn onto a piece of fabric using a sewing machine. Attaching a patch in this way is the strongest and most durable option.

2.   Iron On. If you choose custom name patches with this type of backing, you will need to use an iron to “stick” them to the fabric in question. The heat of the iron activates a glue in the backing, causing the patch to attach when it cools and hardens.

3.   Velcro. These patches are meant to be taken on and off as you desire and even switched out with other patches. For name patches, this is potentially beneficial for organizations where there may be a decent amount of turnover.

4.   Adhesive. They have a backing that is essentially like that of a sticker. Once you peel off the thin paper covering the backing, you can stick the patch to fabric. This should work 4 to 6 times. After that, adhesive patches can still be sewn on.

Benefits of Getting Your Name Patches with Houston Embroidery Service

Why should you get your custom name patches from us?

We don’t require a minimum number of patches.

While the US military might need to order thousands of Army tape names every year, we understand that most businesses don’t. Moreover, we know that there are many individuals who may want custom name patches for their own reasons, and we support that.

Need to order only 10 patches? Great. 5? No problem. A single custom name patch that’s just for your personal use? You’re at the right place.

We offer this flexibility to customers because we use a high-quality single-headed embroidery machine for small-quantity orders like 5 or 10 patches.
